This Must Stop! Join Us In the Fight Against Breast Cancer.
We need your support to educate our community, support patients and their families and to assist with screenings and treatments.
In 1998, I was diagnosed with an advanced and aggressive stage of breast cancer. I was only 44 at the time. In 2008, my daughter was diagnosed with an aggressive and advanced form of breast cancer. She was only 33 years old.
It was during these times that we realized that black women were and still are dying at greater rates than any other ethnic group from breast cancer.
THIS MUST STOP!
Praise Is The Cure® - a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that my daughter, Kerri Conner Matchett, and I founded. Since 2005, Praise Is The Cure® has been committed to eliminating Breast Cancer disparities among black women in Philadelphia and surrounding counties by providing breast health education, access to breast screenings and treatment, and other support services for breast cancer patients, survivors, and their families.
We THANK YOU for your support.
